Disneyland & Easter Vacation

If you can't tell, this is Jack hugging Mickey Mouse. We spent six days in Disneyland and eleven days all together on vacation. We had a blast and it went by way too fast. I have so many pictures and stories but I just cant seem to manage it all. So here is some of the highlights.

A Day at the beach and Los Angeles. We spent one day at the beach and driving around Hollywood. We ate lunch at Pink's and dessert at Magnolia Bakery. They are known for their banana pudding. And let me tell you, it was delicious.

Jack flying his kite. He was a natural. Jack loved the beach. He loved playing in the sand and water. It seemed like he was in his natural element.

Jack's highlight of the trip. He loved that he got to meet Woody. This kid loves Toy Story and he was so excited. Woody really liked Jack too. He made Jack pose like this and there were a few other poses. It was funny cause Jack was really quiet and would do whatever Woody wanted him to do.

Last day of Disneyland. We spent most of the day tracking down characters to get their autographs and photos. Mostly Jessie and Buzz. They weren't easy to track down and we still never got a picture with them. Maybe next time. This is Jack playing at one of the playgrounds. He is very adventurous and daring. He loved playing on the bear rocks. He looked over at me and said, "Hey Mom, I am Rock Man!" It was not easy to leave. We spent a lot of time in Disneyland and Jack really loved it. We have been home for over a week now and he is still talking about it. He will ask us if he can go see all his favorite people on tv at Disneyland. The other night as we were asleep he rolled over to me and patted my cheeks and said, "Mom, I miss Disneyland." "I want to go to Disneyland."

This is a picture of Jack playing at the water park.

On our way home from California we made a weekend stop in "Curious George"( That is what Jack calls St. George) to meet up with Danny's family. This is where we celebrate Easter every year. We don't have a family Easter picture of us where we are all in our Easter best because we never got the chance to dress up and go to church. Sunday morning Jack was throwing up his dinner from the night before. And eventually half of Danny's family was to. Some of the family got a bad case of food poisoning. Luckily out of our little family it was just Jack (sorry Jack) but he was fine later that evening.

Jack and his cousins made these really cute Easter candy necklaces. They strung fruit loops and peeps on black licorice rope. This is a picture of Jack just finishing their Easter egg hunt.
